Say it, Octo does it.
Your company’s extra pair of hands
Octo sits in your Slack, or in a chat window. “Sort this client list by department” is one line, and a file comes back. The work that’s too small to hire for and too much to leave is Octo’s. The Octo plan is $220 a month, and the first month is an unpaid trial.
Any industry. One thing you’re doing by hand right now, and one person to say what they want. That’s enough.
This is all you say.
Not a brief. One line, with a file if there is one.
You don’t need to know the format or the steps. Say what you want at the end, Octo finds the way, and says so when something can’t be done.
Not everything at once.
Try to hand over everything and you get stuck on what to ask first. Start with the one job that eats the most time, then add as you go.
The first month is one spreadsheet. The list you were sorting by hand. The rest gets decided as you go.
How it works.
Once you subscribe, this is the routine.
- 1
Octo’s desk lives on a server only your company uses
Each company gets its own server. Files, the log and routines pile up there, and nothing is shared with another company.
- 2
Ask in the Slack you already use, or in the chat
One line — “sort this list” — and a file. Hand over several at once if you like; Octo takes them all and works through them in order.
- 3
Octo does it and hands it back
Spreadsheets and documents the same day, bigger jobs in a few days. When it’s done, a file and a one-line reply come back. Running the server is Octo’s job too.
The Octo plan is $220 a month.
Who starts the work decides the plan. Work you ask for is Octo; work that runs on its own is Octo PLUS.
Everyone starts on the Octo plan.
Work you ask for.
Documents, spreadsheets, lookups, summaries, translations, drafts.
- Up to 10 people asking, no count on jobs
- The Slack you already use is the front door, or a chat window
- Results come back as files, kept on your company’s server
The first month isn’t billed.
You decide after the first piece of work.
Settled together, depending on what runs.
Work that runs without being asked.
Reports post themselves, sheets stay current, questions get answered.
- On a schedule — morning reports, closing tallies, reminders
- Reads and writes Google Sheets, Drive, email and calendars
- Learns your handbook and answers staff questions, no limit on who asks
Not sold on the spot.
Write down what you need and we’ll settle the scope and price together.
